During my recent stay at the Ferry Inn, I was genuinely impressed by the culinary offerings at the Upper Deck restaurant. Nestled at the foot of the Holborn Head Cliffs, the location provided a stunning backdrop for our dining experience. I opted for the locally caught seafood, expertly prepared and beautifully presented, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. Accompanied by a crisp white wine, it was a simple yet satisfying meal that reminded me of the vibrant cultures I’ve encountered during my archaeological work in the Middle East. The newly refurbished terrace offered a charming atmosphere to enjoy the evening, with the gentle sounds of the harbour in the background. There was also a selection of “Homemade Sweets” that I couldn't resist. I made a point to save room for them, which added a delightful end to the meal. The Upper Deck serves as an excellent stop for travelers, offering superb food in an idyllic setting.
